Changes

As with all changes, it has to come from within, and every small step counts. We cannot change anyone`s thinking, their way of seeing things, and behaviours--all we can do is change our selves. Through this we get free from the shackles of ego, from the negativity and self centredness as we see that we are all one. Different in every way, but still individuals, still unique-- yet one with regard  to accomplishing our agenda, which is the same for each, to work to have more light and dispel darkness from ourselves and the planet we inhabit as stewards for a brief time.That all around us is a sacred space, holy ground and treat it in reverence and total respect. Coming to terms with this, seeing this, and recognising it is the awakening. Is the enlightenment we all speak of.  It is very real, very now and very present.

Awareness, enlightenment and spirituality is not just an idea or a new age concept, a form of escape for some from all our responsibilities--  it is a way to be as we enter  into the age of Aquarius. We have to be part of the world in every sense, be involved, contribute in every sense--scientifically, materially, spiritually as well as in all possible way as to our advancement into the higher realms of existence. This does not mean we have to retire from the world, as some seem to think--in fact we have to be more present. Be more caring, more in tune, more aware, more compassionate, more merciful and more connected towards all living things, including our human brethren. No halos shall we receive, no gold stars and no acclamation of greatness but self fulfilment, peace, contentment and greater vision of our purpose of existence. A feeling that we are performing our duty towards ourselves and acknowledging that we are all connected, and all flows from one source, God. And all of creation from the tiniest to the grandest is divine.

This is no more a quest, we have arrived--but it is the beginning of the next adventure. This one has come to completion. The new journey is just beginning in a new light, in a new world, with new energy--and a new race. 

Dispelling all illusion, living free of judgement and prejudice. Accepting and honouring life in ever way--forgiving, dispensing mercy and living from a space in the heart where only love should reside-allow it to express its light, sacredness and all that is holy. The choice is ours, let`s chose wisely.Not all feel this way, but how we our self feel act and whom we chose to become is the important thing.

Shall we live authentically? Shall we live up to to all the graces and potential we were gifted? Shall we live in gratefulness for each moment? Shall we protect life? Shall we individually create peace--in our lives  and around us? Shall we bring God or whomever one considers the Divine back into focus? Shall we live from spirit? Shall we live as spiritual beings having a human experience?  

Or shall we simply fall back into our old egocentric ways? Or shall we, as the Mayan cave glyphs point to a fork in the road this very moment in time--as there are two roads ahead, one leading up, the other down. What do we choose? It is a free choice. Stay with ego, or go with spirit? We all have to ponder these questions deeply, and the answer will arrive--as a teacher when the student is ready.
